Francisca holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Planning and Protection from the University of Abuja. Her technical knowledge is reinforced by certifications in HSE, First Aid & CPR, and Microsoft Office, equipping her with the practical and digital skills to manage both field and administrative dimensions of project execution.
A registered member of COREN, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE), and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE), Francisca has held key leadership and committee roles across these organizations. Dr. Mamoud Bello Abubakar is a distinguished chemical engineer and ESG & sustainability leader, renowned for his profound impact across Africa’s infrastructure, energy, and environmental landscape. With a career spanning over 30 years, Dr. Abubakar holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Benin and ABU Zaria, respectively. His proven track record encompasses the delivery of complex, multi-sectoral projects involving multidisciplinary teams for organisations such as the World Bank, NNPC, West African Power Pool, UNIDO, and the Transmission Company of Nigeria, as well as BUA, Dangote, Julius Berger, and Lafarge, among others. Notable roles include Project Manager and Environmental Specialist for landmark projects such as the 880km 330kV WAPP North Core Transmission Line Project from Birnin-Kebbi (Nigeria) to Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), the 3,600km 330kV WAPP Median Interconnection Project from Shiroro (Nigeria) to Ferkessédougou (Cote d’Ivoire), Cement projects at Obajana (Dangote), Ashaka (Lafarge) and Edo and Sokoto (BUA). Others include the development of fertiliser and methanol projects in Abuja and Nasarawa State, as well as the Escravos Seaport and Industrial Complex Project.
