RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Prof. Adefila has been teaching Chemical Engineering at ABU Zaria, Nigeria the same time, he engaged in research in the areas of the interaction between energy and environment for over 20 years. While, teaching he also supervised more than 20 postgraduate theses that lead to the award of PhD and M.Sc. degrees and over a hundred undergraduate projects. He was also at various times, the Head of Chemical Engineering Department, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Chair Occupant, Petroleum Technology development Fund Professorial Chair in Chemical Engineering. He also served on a number of university boards and committees. He was also a visiting fellow/ external examiner to the following, Kaduna Polytechnic, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Federal University of Technology, Yola, University of Benin, Benin, and University of Lagos, Lagos.
